New design, new logo, new website... coming soon!

Dear all,

I am reaching out with my 7th newsletter, with some good news and progress about LIMEN. You can find all the past newsletter here, please share and comment!

At LIMEN we are getting ready for some major announcement coming in the next few weeks, this January was all about product design, prototyping and branding.

Let’s start with some progress:

  • LIMEN is getting a fresh new look, new logo is ready (look at the cover pic above) and new website (see the sneak pic below) coming soon! This reflects a new season for LIMEN, we are getting ready to hit the market with our new smart diffuser and a totally new set of ambient perfumes.

New website coming soon!!!

  • Next week we are starting more research about the design of the smart diffuser. If you like design objects or you have an eye for interiors and you want to give your input on the design process, please let us know! I 'd love to hear from you!

  • The next iteration of the working prototype has been hard and rewarding: a lot of 3d printing, a lot of wiring and programming. Fun and tiresome, but I am very happy about the progress.

LIMEN needs…

This is going to be a recurring section, LIMEN needs your help, suggestions, feedback and introductions:

  • I am planning some workshops about perfumes and the power of olfaction in Berlin. Do you have suggestions for cool venues that could be interested in hosting an event with a major perfumer and perfume brand? Please let me know.

  • Do you want to be a tester for LIMEN? And help us to co-design perfumes and diffusers and new olfactory experiences? Get in touch!

Now, some inspiration and facts from the fragrance world:

Fragrance Concentrations in perfumes

  • The word perfume or parfum comes from the Latin Par Fumum, which literally means “through smoke”, referring to the action of burning material to perfume an environment. The origin of the word is not certain, but we know that Egyptians were using perfumes already in 3000 B.C.

While I work hard to make my vision into reality, I am going to ask you for any feedback, suggestions and introduction, your support is fundamental for me and LIMEN!!!

Have a great day!
